<p><strong>INTERMEDIATE MINE SITE PLANNING & MODELING SPECIALIST</strong></p><p><strong>Full Time, Permanent</strong></p><p><strong>Burnaby, BC / Vernon, BC / or Calgary, AB</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>THE OPPORTUNITY:</strong></p><p>We are seeking an<strong> Intermediate Mine Site Planning & Modeling Specialist</strong> to contribute to practical, effective solutions in mine site planning and water management. This role, based in either British Columbia or Alberta, is perfect for a technically driven professional who enjoys modeling, tackling complex challenges, and helping mining clients make informed, defensible decisions.</p><p><br></p><p>In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior professionals and the Mine Site Planning & Modeling Lead to develop and refine<strong> GoldSim models </strong>that support mine planning, operations, and environmental permitting. (eligibility for professional registration in BC is considered an asset).</li><li>7+ years of relevant experience in mine water management, hydrology, or environmental modeling as a P.Eng.</li><li>Proficiency in GoldSim for water balance or system modeling (experience with probabilistic and stochastic modeling considered an asset).</li><li>Strong understanding of mine water systems, site infrastructure, and environmental permitting processes in British Columbia.</li><li>Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated technical writing proficiency.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.</li><li>Self-motivation, initiative, and accountability with a commitment to teamwork and continuous learning.</li><li>Valid driver's license in good standing.</li><li>Ability to perform fieldwork, including equipment handling, travel to remote locations by vehicle, boat, or air, and outdoor site work in varied weather and terrain conditions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>COMPENSATION: </strong>$124,000 - 140,000/year</p>Create Your Resume First
