Job Summary
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Material Handler I is responsible for performing stock handling duties including receiving, order picking, loading/unloading trucks, replenishment, cycle counting, and physical inventory. This role supports warehouse operations and ensures accuracy and efficiency in material movement and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and verify inbound material for condition, quantity, and correctness.
• Accurately pick and process outbound orders.
• Move and pick up material from other departments.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to inventory and shipments.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and replenishment tasks.
• Assist with error investigation and resolution related to inventory balances and receiving discrepancies.
• Use computer programs to obtain and update database information.
• Perform other related duties in the warehouse or other areas as required.
• Adhere to Client's Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Lift truck experience.
• RF scanner picking experience.
• Knowledge of Lean principles.
• Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Quick learner with strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work daily and/or weekend overtime as required.
