<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Basic Function:</strong></p><p>Responsible for planning, communicating, implementing and coordinating Information Technology (IT) application projects. Responsible for all Norfolk County corporate applications. </p><p><strong>Position Description:</strong></p><p>•Leading the design, support, and evaluation of all municipal information systems (financial, customer relations, resource planning, social services, property, and asset).</p><p>•Responsible for data warehousing including retention, classification, and analytics. </p><p>•Manage project work plans and review as appropriate to meet changing needs.</p><p>•Supervise staff responsible for municipal information systems.</p><p>•Evaluate and report on the performance of municipal systems, identify opportunity for improvement and refine targets for future releases.</p><p>•Manage all information systems projects which includes managing costs, quality, time, and risk.</p><p>•Responsible for managing all contracted work for information systems provided by outside agencies.</p><p>•Responsible for PCI compliance, PIPEDA, and privacy audits.</p><p>•Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to information technology.</p><p>•Provide backup support for all information technology functions.</p><p>•Promote effective and appropriate use of information technology.</p><p>•Provide progress reports at meetings.</p><p>•Keep current on changes and innovative technology developments.</p><p>•Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with other IT management to provide after-hours support for critical systems and services.</p><p>•Perform other duties as assigned.</p><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Knowledge and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Three or four year University degree or Community College in computer science or technology studies, or equivalent.
