Manage all maintenance activities of the RSC to ensure the building and surrounding property is maintained in a manner that supports our corporate image; protects the health and safety of all visitors and employees; protects the security of the companyu2019s assets; and complies with all regulations and guidelines. Improve operations through effective planning and scheduling of building and equipment maintenance activities and resources. Organize, direct, and control the maintenance department. Actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment. This is a working position, and all other duties assigned to by management.
Hereu2019s where youu2019ll have an impact:
Direct, plan, organize, assign, supervise, and evaluate operating and maintenance repair work to machinery and building electrical/ mechanical systems, completed by operators and selected service contractors
Regular inspection, repair, and replacement of warehouse racking, equipment, and fire system maintenance
Complete repairs and maintenance of all equipment and facility to ensure all warranty needs are met
Review and ensure compliance with regulatory codes, manufactureru2019s requirements, industry practices, company policies/ procedures, and operating performances targets
Ensure building and equipment complies with applicable codes and safety standards
Ensure the facility is maintained in clean and orderly fashion and complies with AIB guidelines
Co-ordinate daily activities of maintenance staff and ensure maintenance staff and third-party contractors meet performance
Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per company requirements
Other duties as required
What you bring to the table:
Knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair for various types of machinery, facility material handling, and refrigeration systems.
Experience in general technical troubleshooting of building equipment and hands-on operating, diagnostics and repair
Three to five years supervisory experience
Two or more years of experience in a warehouse maintenance environment
Proficient use of the Microsoft Office
Effective communication skills (both oral and written)
Excellent mechanical, analytical, and mathematical skills
Comfortable and flexible operating in a team environment
Knowledge and experience of an Industrial Refrigeration System
Knowledge and experience of Sprinkler or Fire control system
Trade qualification in a mechanical related trade or a Building Operator Qualification Preferred
Database and spreadsheet
Understanding of grocery products distribution as a whole
