JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspections & Diagnostics: Conduct regular checks of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to identify problems early.
• Preventive Maintenance: Lubricate machinery, clean filters, replace worn parts, and follow schedules to prevent breakdowns.
• Repairs: Handle minor fixes like drywall patching, fixing doors, replacing light fixtures, and repairing equipment.
• System Maintenance: Make minor adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Groundskeeping: Maintain outdoor areas, including mowing lawns, clearing debris, and managing pathways.
• Inventory Management: Track tools, supplies, and equipment, and make necessary purchases.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety rules, inspect fire alarms, and maintain overall facility safety.
• Coordination: Schedule and oversee specialized contractors (electricians, plumbers) for major repairs.
• Record Keeping: Document and logs maintenance and repair tasks.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly to unexpected issues like leaks or power failures. 

• Technical knowledge in various trades (electrical, plumbing, mechanical). Problem-solving and troubleshooting. Physical stamina for bending, lifting, and standing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Must have own vehicle and tools.
