<p><h3>LTO Assignment: Grade 3 1.00 FTE</h3>
<p>Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking a Long Term Occasional teacher to provide coverage for a teacher on leave within the Ontario College of Teachers Education (OECTA) framework.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Deliver classroom instruction to Grade 3 students.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.</li>
<li>Implement curriculum standards and assessment practices.</li>
<li>Take on responsibilities of the cover position within the designated school.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.</li>
<li>Successful completion of the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT.</li>
<li>Prior teaching experience in a Catholic classroom preferred.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Salary Range</h3>
<p>$51,234.00 to $119,943.00, per Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement effective September 1, 2025.</p>
<h3>Application Process</h3>
<ul>

<li>The board will identify the three most senior qualified applicants. If an applicant declines, the next senior applicant is considered, up to five.</li>
<li>Non‑OCSB teachers must provide a negative PRC for the Vulnerable Sector dated within the last six months.</li>
<li>AI may be utilized throughout the selection and recruitment process.</li>
