As part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, the Recruiter will provide full life cycle, high volume recruiting support with an emphasis on Commercial Pharmaceutical recruiting. This is a temporary 12-month contract assignment. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Headhunt, engage, and screen top-tier talent for commercial pharmaceutical roles
  • Partner with Talent acquisition to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
  • Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines through networking, direct sourcing, and market mapping
  • Ensure an inclusive, consistent, and high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Support urgent and high-priority hiring needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Provide daily support to talent acquisition on key business initiatives,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience in recruitment and headhunting
  • Pharmaceutical industry (commercial) experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to quickly prioritize competing priorities
  • Customer-focused attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, sense of urgency
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIN Recruiter and Microsoft Tools
  • Experience networking, sourcing, and hiring diverse talent. 

Working conditions

This is a remote based position with occasional onsite requirement in Toronto
