For over 30+ years our client has been providing software solutions to the commercial, healthcare and public sectors. There is a strong possibility you have used our client's software at some point in your life. They are now looking for a Lead Test Engineer to join their team in Halifax.</p><p>As a Lead Test Engineer, you'll be a hands-on technical leader and trusted expert in software testing -shaping test strategy, guiding teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications that truly meet user needs.</p><p> </p><p> You'll lead the design and implementation of both manual and automated testing approaches, with a focus on quality, performance, and security. You will design, implement, and maintain test approaches - including manual (exploratory) and automated testing across application layers.</li><li>Inspire and lead Agile teams. You will provide technical leadership in testing, ensure collaboration between testers and developers, and establish efficient defect management processes.</li><li>Champion best practices. You will leverage test automation tools like <strong>Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber, and Protractor,</strong> and support continuous integration environments including Jenkins and TeamCity.</li><li>Mentor and support others.
