Your Impact Starts Here - This is your opportunity to be a Laboratory Administrator in our Earth & Environment team in London, Ontario . This is your chance to support meaningful work that shapes safer, stronger communities—helping teams deliver accurate, timely data that informs major infrastructure and environmental decisions across the region.

You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where geotechnical experts, environmental scientists, materials specialists, and technical professionals work together to build solutions that stand the test of time.

Your Impact

  • Enter and validate laboratory test data within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Compile, prepare, and issue high‑quality client reports that support engineering decisions across multiple project types.
  • Coordinate closely with senior staff and laboratory supervisors to manage timely review and release of results.
  • Communicate with clients to deliver completed reports, answer inquiries, and maintain strong service relationships.
  • Track testing progress and project workflows to support proactive scheduling and efficient turnaround times.
  • Generate weekly reporting summaries to support project invoicing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to keep work moving smoothly in a fast‑paced operational environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong "Safety First" mindset by following all WSP policies and modeling safe behaviours.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Experience or familiarity with materials testing such as soil, aggregate, concrete, or asphalt is an asset.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
  • A service‑oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Comfortable working independently while also thriving in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to support occasional early mornings, evenings, or overtime as needed.
  • Solid computing skills, including working knowledge of databases or reporting systems.
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $22.80 – $27.55/hour

MB & ON: $21.25 – $25.65/hour

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $20.15 – $24.35/hour
