Job Description
Our client in the Toronto (Kipling and Lakeshore) area is seeking a full-time HR Health & Safety Administrator. This is a temp-to-hire position.
Day shift: 9am - 5pm - Monday to Friday
Pay: $26-30/hr
This is a 50% HR and 50% H&S position
NEED TO HAVE 3 YEARS EXPEREINCE IN A MANUFACTURING COMPANY
Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees
Assist with the recruitment of employees
Assist with probation and annual performance evaluations
Review performance evaluations and other reports
Assist in implementing continuing education or on-the-job training
Implement company programs to increase morale
Track the attendance of employees and their use of vacation and sick days
Assist with the Health & Safety development, performance, and maintenance within the Company
Contribute to ensuring the Company meets all Health & Safety regulations and that
appropriate risk mitigation/control measures are in place
Assist with risk assessment, audit review, monitoring & managing health and safety
within the Company
Assist with investigating incidents and accidents to ensure the timely production of
corrective and preventative action plans
Identify any shortfalls in and/or potential improvements to policy and process, and assess effectiveness of current policies and processes and recommend and help implement required changes
Ensure all training, license renewals, and certificates are up to date and coordinate
with each department if training or recertification is needed
Ensure that the Company is compliant with MOL guidelines at all times
Maintain accurate records.
Vacation 2 weeks (AFTER 1 YEAR OF SERVICE)
