<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Twister Piling Inc. (TPI) is a deep foundations contractor with over 20+ years of experience in the industry. We are seeking an experienced<strong> Estimator</strong> for Helical Piling to join our team in bidding and executing new projects. This position is based out of our office in Nisku, AB.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>· Review RFP, and addenda including scope of work, drawings, and specifications</p><p>· Prepare the overall project estimate including productivities as well as quantity take-offs for labour, equipment, materials and other services.</p><p>· Develop the bid schedule including milestones, activity completions etc.</p><p>· Identify potential risks and delivery impacts and allocate contingency appropriately</p><p>· Prepare RFIs for submission to the client during the tendering process</p><p>· Identify and escalate assumptions and exceptions including gaps and missing information</p><p>· Obtain subcontractor and supplier pricing including review and selection</p><p>· Work together with external parties including clients, estimators, Project Managers, Engineering and subcontractors.</p><p>· Work together with TPI teams including Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing for estimating of projects</p><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>· preferred 3+ years of estimating experience in deep foundation installation</p><p>· Knowledge of current piling construction practices, techniques, and equipment.</p><p>· Able to understand and interpret construction documents, drawings and contracts.</p><p>· Strong computer skills including MS Office and internet exploring</p><p>· Able to multi-task multiple projects including office work as well as site work</p><p>· Strong oral and written communication skills and professionalism with operations, client, management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders</p><p>· Positive attitude & team player</p><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>· Extended Healthcare Plan - HSA</p><p>· Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP)</p><p>· Training & Development</p><p> </p><ul><li>Please send your resume with references to <span >info@twisterpiling.com</span></li></ul></p></p>
