In this permanent, full-time role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment, including riggers, loaders and excavators.</p><p><br /></p><p>This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 431A Red Seal certification who has strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills and enjoys working independently in a dynamic, field-based environment. While based out of Hamilton, 60% of your time will be spent on the out of town projects. We're looking for candidates with at least 2 years of hands-on experience working with heavy-duty equipment.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADVANTAGES</strong></p><ul><li>Consistent Day Shift (Monday to Friday)</li><li>Competitive hourly wage up to $42/hr</li><li>Overtime available</li><li>Long-term, stable employment with growth potential</li><li>All necessary PPE, uniforms, and safety footwear provided</li><li>Great benefits- RRSP matching, medical, and dental</li><li>Tool allowance, vehicle provided</li><li>Opportunity for advancement, development and career growth</li><li>Work independently while being supported by a collaborative team</li><li>Company events, great culture, safety culture, and working conditions</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct repairs, inspections and routine maintenance on a wide range of construction equipment, including drilling rigs, excavators, loaders and small equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues and carry out necessary mechanical and electrical repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.</li><li>Test equipment post-repair to confirm proper functionality and safe operation.</li><li>Accurately complete all required maintenance records, service reports, and work orders in a timely manner.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with team members, and supervisors to ensure seamless service and support.</li><li>Follow all company health and safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Registered Red Seal 421A</li><li>2+ years of mechanical experience servicing a variety of heavy construction equipment</li><li>Hands-on experience in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and making required repairs is required</li><li>Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, equipment and vehicle electronics, and electrical systems. </li><li>Proactive can-do attitude. </li><li>Valid G license with clean driving record. </li><li>Occasional shift work required (12-8 or weekends) but normal hours are 7-5. </li><li>Flexibility to manage and adapt to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset</li><li>Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVEON</strong></p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
