Our organization is composed of long-term team members, who are passionate about doing their best work every day, on every site.</p><p><br /></p><p>How We&#39;re Different:</p><ul><li>Annual Rankings for 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 as one of the fastest-growing companies in Canada</li><li>Awards for Environmental Project of the Year 2018</li><li>Great health, dental, vision insurance and Employee Assistance Program</li><li>RRSP plan that includes company dollar-for-dollar match on weekly contributions<br /></li><li>Participation in yearly training and career development programs<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Duties and Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Perform all levels of preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair on heavy equipment (main focus) and fleet vehicles.</li><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems using diagnostic tools, test equipment and manufacturer manuals.</li><li>Service and repair major components including engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems and hydraulic systems.</li><li>Conduct road tests and functional checks to ensure proper operation and compliance with specifications.</li><li>Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and service manuals to complete accurate and efficient repairs.</li><li>Use a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment and hydraulic jacks to perform maintenance and assembly work.</li><li>Maintain accurate service and repair records, and identify warrantable repairs as required.</li><li>Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with Workplace Safety, Environmental and National Safety Code regulations.</li><li>Keep work areas clean, organized and compliant with safety standards while performing duties independently and efficiently.</li><li>Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>10+ years of experience working on various sized Heavy Equipment and/or Heavy Trucks</li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to monitor and evaluate problems and organizational performance in order to assess efficiency and effectiveness</li><li>Ability to occasionally work outdoors in challenging conditions caused by snow, dust, temperature changes, and weather</li><li>Ability to use workplace technology</li><li>A valid G Driver&#39;s License with a clean abstract is required</li><li>AZ/DZ license an asset</li><li>Computer knowledge, including creating work orders and utilizing email.</li><li>Must possess own Hand Tools and Tool Box.</li><li>Travel Requirements: Service calls for emergency breakdowns may require local travel with a company-provided vehicle. Occasional afterhours and Saturday work may be required.</li></ul><p><br /></p></p></p>
