Business Legal Name: White Cap Mushroom Farm Ltd Business Address/ Work Location: 38061 Atkinson Road, Abbotsford, BC, V3G 2G6 Job Title: Harvesting Labourer Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible No of Positions: 16 Wage: $ 17.85 - $19.40 per hour (Depending on experience) Job Description: Perform tasks such as hand harvesting, picking, sorting, packaging, and weighing mushrooms. Loading/ unloading farm produce and supplies for transport. Cleaning and preparing mushroom beds for the next growth of mushrooms. General clean-up of growing, producing, work areas and clean up racks, trays, harvest bins, etc. Sanitizing picking tools and working areas. SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Education: No formal education required. Experience: No formal experience required; successful candidates will be trained in job duties. Language: No formal language requirement. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work long hours with repetitive tasks. Ability to work in various environments: cold, damp, dust. Ability to handle heavy workloads, which can be physically demanding. Ability to distinguish between colors, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity. Ability to bend, couch, stand and kneel for long extended periods. Ability to work at a high-level height.
