<p><strong>Senior Engineering Specialist - Software & Hardware (DO-178C / DO-254)</strong></p><p><br></p><p> Join a world-class aerospace program and ensure compliance and innovation in airborne software and electronic hardware. This is a <strong>36-month contract</strong>, hybrid (2 days/week in Montreal or Toronto), with <strong>no overtime</strong> and occasional travel.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why this role?</strong></p><ul><li> Long-term stability (3 years)</li><li>Cutting-edge aerospace projects</li><li>Opportunity to mentor and influence</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Review and assess airborne software and hardware designs</li><li>Evaluate certification plans and compliance with DO-178C, DO-254 standards</li><li>Conduct technical audits and safety-of-flight reviews</li><li>Analyse test results and prepare compliance reports</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to SWEL roadmap</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident</li><li>Degree in Electronics, Software, or Aerospace Engineering</li><li>15+ years in engineering (10+ in aerospace)</li><li>Expertise in FPGA/ASIC development and embedded software</li><li>Deep knowledge of DO-178C, DO-254, FAA/EASA standards</li><li>Familiarity with DOORS/JAMA and programming languages (C, C++, Ada95, Assembly, Python)</li><li>Membership in OIQ preferred</li><li>Excellent communication skills; French is an asset</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
