Job Summary:

The Handyman position involves performing general repairs, maintenance, and minor installations across residential or commercial sites. This role requires hands-on experience, the ability to work independently, and strong skills across multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work. Ideal for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance and general repair tasks
• Perform light plumbing, carpentry, drywall patching, and painting
• Install shelves, doors, fixtures, and hardware as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical or mechanical issues
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, property managers, or clients

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in general maintenance or handyman work
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and work in a variety of settings
• Capable of working independently and managing time efficiently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in property maintenance or facility support
• Basic knowledge of building codes and repair standards
• Valid safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS)
• Own tools and reliable transportation
• Ability to interpret instructions, sketches, or repair manuals

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
