We're seeking General Labourers to join our client's team in the Truro Area
What We Offer:
- Salary from $17-$20/hr depending on industry
- Full-time, part-time, or seasonal positions available.
- May require early mornings, evening shifts, weekends, or overtime
- Work may be indoors or outdoors depending on the industry.
What You'll Do:
- Load, unload, and move materials and products manually or using equipment.
- Clean and prepare work sites by removing debris and hazards.
- Assist skilled tradespeople and machine operators as required.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Pack and sort materials and products.
- Help set up and take down equipment or structures.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
What We're Looking For:
- No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
- Previous experience in general labour or similar work is an advantage.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions or environments.
