This role provides an excellent opportunity to step into active work and make a meaningful impact from day one.</p><p><strong>Shift Schedule:</strong><br>• Monday to Friday, 8-hour days<br>
• Possibility of weekend overtime based on client needs<br>
• Orientation (8 hours) – paid </p><p>Pay Range: $81.51-$85.80</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and coordinate crews to ensure safe, efficient execution of daily tasks and resolve on-site issues.</li><li>Plan and prepare work by assessing hazards, securing materials, permits, and equipment, and interpreting drawings and specifications.</li><li>Execute and oversee technical tasks including pipefitting, machinery installation, alignment, rigging, and system testing.</li><li>Monitor and document progress, ensure quality and compliance with FLINT and client standards, and communicate updates.</li><li>Support team productivity and safety by fostering a positive environment and ensuring adherence to all safety procedures.</li></ul><p>This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply. </p><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in fuel terminals; must hold a <strong>Journeyperson Certificate of Qualification in Pipefitting or Millwright</strong> (Ontario) or an Interprovincial Red Seal.</li><li>Valid driver’s license, a clean 5-year abstract with under 6 demerits, and reliable transportation to site are required.</li><li>Completion of safety and technical training including <strong>WHMIS, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, Confined Space Training, CSTS, and Forklift or Zoom Boom; PM03 Petroleum Mechanic Training and Certification</strong> is optional, and training will be provided.</li><li>Proven experience working safely on live systems using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and system isolation protocols.</li><li>Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in industrial environments such as heights, confined spaces, and varying weather; must meet all site access and pre-employment requirements including Suncor web-based training.</li><li>Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.</li></ul><h2>Additional Information</h2><p><em>This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.</em></p><p ></p><p><strong>Our Commitment to Our People </strong></p><p>When you join FLINT, we make these promises: </p><ul><li>Your work will matter<strong>.</strong> The projects you'll help build will serve communities for generations. </li><li>Your growth is our priority<strong>.</strong> We'll invest in your development and create paths for advancement. </li><li>Your voice will be heard<strong>.</strong> Your experience and ideas will shape how we tackle challenges. </li><li>Your team will support you.
