Forklift Operator

Job Description

Our Calgary clients are looking for experienced forklift operators to help with several projects  They value hard work, teamwork and a "get-it-done" attitude, with a solid track record of safety for their employees  If you are detail oriented, enjoy working in a team and like a fast-paced environment – this may be the perfect opportunity<br><br>
Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operating forklifts to safely load and unload product within the warehouse.</li><li>Identify and prepare orders for shipment, inspecting any flaws or damage.</li><li>Order picking, using an RF Scanner, ensuring accurate selection of items.</li><li>Regular safety inspections of the forklift, communicating any issues directly to the supervisor.</li><li>General Warehouse tasks as required.</li></ul>
<br>Requirements:<ul><li>1 to 2+ years of warehouse experience with proven proficiency on the forklift.</li><li>Current forklift certification would be well regarded.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, lifting up to 50lbs regularly.</li><li>Experience loading, unloading, and maneuvering loads.</li><li>Must be a good communicator with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Accountable and responsible to proactively and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner.</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.</li><li>Steel-toed boots in good repair are required.</li></ul>
