Field Technician - Refrigeration - Commercial Kitchen Equipment<br><br><em>Looking for a Challenge</em> …..Join one of the largest Canadian owned foodservice repair and installation companies serving Southern Ontario for over 40 years<br><br>Action Restaurant Services Ltd. provides a full range of services to restaurant and bakery equipment including repairs, preventative maintenance, rebuilding, and installations. <br><br>Great benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and vacation. <br>If you want to expand your career and take on new challenges this is where you need to be.<br><br>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responding to Customer service calls.</li><li>Performing routine and preventative maintenance or installations as required.</li><li>Diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment.</li><li>Inspecting commercial kitchen, bakery equipment, and related components to ensure safe operation.</li><li>Ability to work alone, maintain a personal schedule, and communicate with customers. On occasion be able to handle pressure or a stressful situation with an even temper.</li><li>Maintaining current vehicle inventory, cleanliness, and maintenance of Company service vehicle.</li><li>Ability to complete manual tasks such as: bending, reaching, standing, lifting, or carrying up to 60 lbs.</li></ul><br>Your Strengths:<ul><li>Must have 3+ years of field experience in commercial food equipment refrigeration.</li><li>Gas fitter 2 would be an asset.</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li><li>Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with demonstrated diagnostic ability.</li><li>Good oral communication and customer skills.</li><li>Available for some overtime and occasional weekend call-out duties.</li><li>Comfortable with current software and computer programs.</li><li>CFESA training or prepared to attend local or out-of-town factory training.</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract required.</li></ul>
