Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Board to set and execute ICS’s strategic vision
- Oversee operational planning, budgeting, compliance, and risk management
- Lead senior managers and ensure service quality across program areas
- Represent ICS with funders, government, and community partners
- Foster a culture of equity, inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotational basis as part of the on-call team
Qualifications
Who You Are
- A big-picture thinker with a heart for social impact
- A confident leader skilled in navigating complex systems and communities
- An experienced nonprofit executive with a track record in strategic planning, financial oversight, and quality and change management
- A relationship-builder who communicates with clarity, warmth, and purpose
What You Bring
- A degree in Social Work, Business, Public Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years in senior leadership roles, ideally within the nonprofit or social services sector
- Expertise in financial management, HR practices, risk oversight, and policy development
- Proven success working with boards and managing diverse teams
- A Class 5 driver’s license, a reliable vehicle with business insurance, and relevant safety certifications (or willingness to complete them)
