Job Description
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend Wage rate: $36.70 hourly, 40.00 Hours per week. Overtime will be paid after 40 hours. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Location: 12180 Vickers Way, Richmond, BC, V6V 1H9 Number of positions available: 3 Education: High School Experience: 1 2 years of experience Languages: Basic English is required Job Duties: Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, loaders and graders to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction and related activities. Operate excavator bulldozers or other heavy equipment to fulfill the project requirement. Operate heavy equipment with pile driver head to drive piling into earth to provide support for buildings, bridges or other structures. Operate heavy equipment to move, load and unload cargo. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment. Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous learning for different projects. Work Environment/Conditions: Outside, Inside, Heat, Sun, Rain, Cold. Depending on the work requirements, the candidate will be expected to work in up listed working environment. Other: Candidate should be legally entitled to work in Canada.
