Job Description

<p><h3>POSITION GOAL</h3>
<p>As a Process Control Specialist, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across our organization. This position is responsible for leading and actively participating in <b>Six Sigma Red X problem-solving events</b>, ensuring that complex issues are addressed with data-driven solutions. You will collect and analyze performance data to identify root causes, develop and implement corrective actions, and establish monitoring methods to sustain improvements.</p>
<h3>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</h3>
<ul>
<li>Leads and participates in statistical problem-solving activities using the DMAIC methodology working closely with process owners and participants of the submitted problem report.</li>
<li>Participates in and supports engineering process improvement projects.</li>
<li>Establishes, and implements accurate data collection plans for Six Sigma problem solving and process improvement events.</li>
<li>Actively participates in the collection of accurate data for use in Six Sigma problem solving and process improvement events.</li>
<li>Processes and analyzes collected data using statistical analysis software.</li>
<li>Develops, tests, and implements solutions for Six Sigma problem solving and process improvements.</li>
<li>Performs design changes when required as part of the problem solution and puts in place mitigation plan for all similar required design changes.</li>
<li>Establishes and supports others in the implementation of monitoring systems and better Process Control following the completion of process improvement events.</li>
<li>Supports the creation and management of Engineering process and training documentation.</li>
</ul>
<h3>QUALIFICATIONS</h3>
<ul>
<li>Background in <b>statistical analysis</b></li>
<li><b>Registered Technologist/Engineer</b> designation or equivalent</li>
<li>Minimum <b>2 years of design-related experience</b></li>
<li>Knowledge of <b>design principles</b> relevant to essential job functions</li>
<li><b>Statistical analysis certification</b> (minimum Yellow Belt)</li>
<li>Experience in <b>production, process improvement, and design optimization</b></li>
<li>Proficiency with <b>Unigraphics NX</b></li>
<li>Skilled in <b>statistical analysis software</b></li>
<li>Ability to use <b>precision measuring equipment</b> (calipers, micrometers, etc.)</li>
<li>Strong <b>Unigraphics NX skills</b></li>
<li>Excellent <b>teamwork and communication abilities</b></li>
<li>Ability to <b>work independently</b></li>
<li>Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities</li>
