As one of top leaders in the industry, we have an exciting opportunity for a Captain on the SK76, in support of our Air Ambulance Operations in Halifax, Nova Scotia.</p><p>If you are looking to further your career, we invite you to apply today and be a part of our growing team!</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a Captain as per Company operation standards;</li><li>Perform IFR Flights in challenging and rapidly changing environment;</li><li>Be able to work closely with our customer, respond efficiently to aircraft tasking, while maintaining a high level of safety;</li><li>Coordination and effective communication between crew and dispatch</li><li>All duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager;</li><li>Transition period from First Officer to Captain role might be required.</li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>A Valid and Unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License;</li><li>A Valid Canadian Passport or A Valid Authorization to work in Canada and to travel to USA, (this position is not available for sponsorship);</li><li>A Minimum of 2000 hours rotary wing flight time;</li><li>A Minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) which 200 hours of Multi-Engine Aircraft;</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations with actual IFR flight hours as PIC;</li><li>Valid Class 1 Medical;</li><li>NVG experience an asset;</li><li>Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security Assessment application for NVG purposes;</li><li>Endorsement on S76 considered an asset;</li><li>Previous experience flying in a 703 Air Ambulance operation as a Captain is preferred;</li><li>Experience flying in Eastern Canada is considered an asset</li><li>Be customer focused and a team player;</li><li>Have good communication skills and a positive attitude;</li><li>Immunization records with required vaccinations is mandatory.</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p><strong>Additional information: </strong></p><p>Remuneration: Competitive salary according to experience.</p><p>Schedule:<strong> </strong>Shifts schedule, 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off</p><p>Working for Canadian Helicopters is:</p><ul><li>A unique occasion to grow professionally in a dynamic environment full of opportunities.</li><li>Working with passionate, committed people who enjoy surpassing themselves.</li><li>Being part of an organizational culture based on fundamental principles.</li><li>Having an employer of choice offering competitive working conditions.</li></ul><p><strong>Canadian Helicopters Limited is committed to employment equity and diversity and encourages applications from women, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.</strong></p><p>For more information we invite you to visit our website: <span >www.canadianhelicopters.com</span></p><p>Follow us on LinkedIn: <span >https://ca.linkedin.com/company/canadian</span>-helicopters-limited</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
