Job Description
Electrical Engineer for immediate employment at the London/Kitchener, Ontario office, filling an existing position within the team.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical analyses, calculations, and routine tests in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Assist in preparing technical specifications, design drawings, memos, and reports.
- Identify discrepancies in results and propose solutions using sound engineering judgment.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to fulfill project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate electrical conditions and provide recommendations.
- Provide technical or operational guidance to less experienced engineers, EITs and technicians.
- Stay updated on industry codes, regulations, and best practices to ensure high‑quality design solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering + four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Water & Wastewater, Transportation, Buildings, and Sustainability sectors (PV and EV systems).
- Experience with design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of power systems: MV/LV distribution, lighting, controls, renewable energy systems.
- Proficiency with engineering calculations and preparing technical documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency essential).
- Ability to recognize and adhere to established deadlines and schedules.
- Ability to fit into a fast‑paced team environment and/or work independently.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and multi‑tasking.

- Relocation is not available for this position.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $65,000.00 - $85,000.00.
