So, this will give you the flavour of the type of things you&#39;ll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.</p><p></p><p>The Role</p><p>Were looking for a passionate and driven Sales SME Team Manager to lead our inbound and SME (SmallMedium Enterprise) sales function. This role is all about driving performance, enablement, and consistent execution across a growing team of inbound and SME sales representatives (~8 team members).</p><p></p><p>Youll be responsible for developing the teams capability, implementing data-driven sales processes, and ensuring a world-class buyer experience that converts inbound interest into long-term customer relationships. Over time, the scope of this role will expand to include leadership and enablement across our senior strategic account team, as the SME function matures.</p><p><br /></p><p>What You&#39;ll Do</p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of inbound and SME sales reps to exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.</li><li>Implement structured sales enablement programs to improve product knowledge, sales acumen, and customer engagement quality.</li><li>Drive inbound lead conversion through consistent process execution, pipeline management, and proactive performance coaching.</li><li>Own the SME sales forecast and maintain visibility on activity, conversion, and performance metrics.</li><li>Partner closely with performance marketing to optimize lead flow, campaign performance, and messaging alignment.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with customer success, operations, and finance to ensure a seamless sales-to-delivery experience.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning within the team.</li><li>Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve tools, and scale performance through data and insights.</li><li>Prepare the team and infrastructure for future expansion into managing strategic account sales.</li><li>Report regularly on performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.</li><li>Talent retention and acquisition.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What We&#39;re Looking For</p><ul><li>5+ years of proven B2B direct sales experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role managing high-performing SME or inbound sales teams.</li><li>Track record of exceeding targets in fast-scaling or high-growth environments, ideally within design, interiors, workplace, or premium product sectors.</li><li>Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills experienced in using CRM and performance metrics to drive accountability and forecast accuracy.</li><li>Hands-on leadership style with a focus on coaching, developing talent, and leading by example to foster a culture of performance and growth.</li><li>Commercially strategic thinker who can balance short-term execution with long-term sales enablement and market development goals.</li><li>Resilient, adaptable, and highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment and brings a collaborative, solutions-focused attitude.</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>Other Stuff To Know<br />We make hiring decisions based on experience, skills and passion, as well as how you canenhance Bureau and our culture.</p></p></p>
