Dental Receptionist

Are you enthusiastic, friendly and ready to join a dynamic dental team?  Do you have excellent verbal and computer skills?  <br><br>We are looking for a Dental Receptionist who has some assisting skills. Our downtown office is close to the subway line and open Monday to Friday.<br><br>The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and deal in a generous and compassionate manner with all kinds of patients in all kinds of circumstances.<br><br>Job Details:<ul><li>Although this position is primarily reception, assisting the dentist in the operatory is required from time to time.</li><li>You must be personable, friendly, and have a strong work ethic.</li><li>You must be punctual and reliable.</li><li>We are looking for a team player with a love of dentistry and the desire to improve every patient's smile.</li></ul>

Requirements:<ul><li>At least 3 years of Canadian dental experience.</li><li>Excellent command of English, both written and verbal is mandatory.</li><li>HARP certification would be a definite asset.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Familiarity with dental codes and terminology.</li><li>Understanding of specialized dental treatments.</li><li>Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory.</li></ul>

Duties include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Knowledge of Abeldent software.</li><li>Maintaining the office in a neat, sterile, and tidy manner.</li><li>Accounts receivable and collections.</li><li>Booking appointments and recalls.</li><li>Dealing with insurance companies regarding claims.</li><li>General administrative dental work.</li><li>Sending and receiving mail and packages.</li><li>Order office supplies.</li><li>Assisting the dentist in providing patient care.</li><li>Sterilizing instruments.</li></ul>
