<h3>About the Role</h3>
<p>As a Court and Client Representative you will play a key role in ensuring court operations run smoothly and serve as an essential contact between the legal system and the community. You will work in both courtroom and court office settings, manage court records, draft and review court documents, and support online, hybrid, and in‑person hearings.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work with judges, lawyers, the public, and participants in the justice system.</li>
<li>Support courtroom and court office activities.</li>
<li>Manage court records and receive, draft, and review court documents.</li>
<li>Assist with online, hybrid, and in‑person hearings and use court recording equipment.</li>
<li>Guide the jury selection process and manage court materials.</li>
<li>Operate a cash register for payment collection and balancing daily transactions.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li><b>Mandatory requirement:</b> type at least 30 words per minute.</li>
<li><b>Additional requirements:</b>
<ul>
<li>Availablility to work an irregular schedule, including weekends and holidays.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel to different courts by air or car.</li>
<li>Valid driver's licence in Ontario.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><b>Technical skills:</b>
<ul>
<li>Apply guidelines, procedures, policy, legislation, and regulations to work.</li>
<li>Adapt and learn new skills and digital processes.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot basic computer issues and request technical support when needed.</li>
<li>Host court proceedings using online meeting software.</li>
<li>Enter data into computer programs and databases.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><b>Communication and client service skills:</b>
<ul>
<li>Provide exceptional customer service.</li>
<li>Communicate confidently and effectively in both written and oral forms.</li>
<li>Explain complex information clearly to the public.</li>
<li>Pay close attention to detail in written tasks.</li>

<li><b>Problem solving and judgement skills:</b>
<ul>
<li>Identify issues and recommend or implement solutions.</li>
<li>Apply good judgement in challenging situations.</li>
