Reporting to the Director, Strategic Finance, the Controller will lead the day-to-day financial operations and reporting of the Foundation. They will prepare financial statements, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide analysis to support decision-making. Working collaboratively with a dynamic and high-performing finance team, the Controller will: Prepare and review periodic financial reports for accuracy and compliance. Manage and maintain the Foundation’s Chart of Accounts. Lead analysis of month-end variances and optimize month-end close processes. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and the annual audit. Collaborate with auditors and provide required documentation. Support cash planning to ensure timely disbursement of grants and operational expenses. Coordinate the annual budget process and update forecasts. Promote innovation and continuous improvement within Finance and across the Foundation. TMGMS Job Requirements: Postsecondary degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field. CPA designation (CA, CPA). 7–10+ years of progressively senior-level experience. Strong expertise in financial management, controllership, budget planning, and full-cycle accounting. Experience with multi-dimensional accounting applications in an ERP system. Proven understanding of banking processes, financial analysis, and financial legislation. Excellent relationship management and communication skills. Experience in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector (preferred).
