Position Summary:

Were looking to hire a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator. While our head office is located at the YMX Innovation Center, Volatus operates in a hybrid environment, and this position will be a combination of office-based and remote work. The successful candidate will provide support on a wide range of commercial issues and applications and assist senior management in their various tasks, primarily in the area of contractual documents and corporate compliance. This is a new position in a growing, fast-paced company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop the role and responsibilities to best support the companys objectives.



Main duties and responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Executive Vice-President and Corporate Secretary, you will be called upon to perform the following tasks, among others:

  • Provide support to the management team by drafting, reviewing, and/or editing a variety of documents against the companys standard templates, including drafting and reviewing non-disclosure agreements, renewing or amending service contracts, preparing schedules and work statements.
  • Support the team on all kinds of contractual issues and requests.
  • Performs due diligence on information and feedback obtained in relation to the execution of various agreements and potential acquisitions.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and updating of various contract templates, reference documents, and databases, and contribute to the improvement of internal processes.
  • Support senior management in transactions (including due diligence) and continuous disclosure obligations and coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties.
  • Support public company reporting requirements.

Requirements:

To be successful in the position, the candidate must have a history of demonstrating the following qualities or skills:

  • Fully bilingual (French and English), both orally and in writing.
  • University or college diploma in paralegal studies (or in an appropriate discipline) or business degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a corporate environment or a law firm.
  • Has good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and develop strong cooperative and supportive relationships.
  • High level of attention to detail; Solution-oriented and customer service mindset.
  • Effective priority management skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse clientele and adapt to a variety of situations and individuals.
  • Tendency to take initiative and have a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure, often under tight deadlines, and to demonstrate composure in sensitive situations.
  • Has a good work ethic, good judgment, and good communication skills.
  • Autonomous and diplomatic.
  • Agile in the use of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Outlook) and can work with PDF documents.

Rsum du poste:

Nous sommes la recherche dun(e) administrateur(trice) de contrats hautement organis(e) et ax(e) sur les dtails. Bien que notre sige social soit situ au Centre dinnovation YMX, Volatus volue dans un environnement de travail hybride, et ce poste combinera le travail en prsentiel et le tltravail.

La personne retenue apportera un soutien dans un large ventail de questions et dapplications commerciales, et assistera la haute direction dans diverses tches, principalement en lien avec la documentation contractuelle et la conformit corporative.

Il sagit dun nouveau poste au sein dune entreprise en pleine croissance et au rythme dynamique. Le ou la candidat(e) slectionn(e) aura loccasion de contribuer au dveloppement du rle et des responsabilits afin de soutenir au mieux les objectifs de lentreprise..



Principales tches et responsabilits:

  • Sous la supervision du vice-prsident excutif et secrtaire gnral, vous serez notamment appel effectuer les tches suivantes :
  • Soutenir lquipe de direction en rdigeant, rvisant et/ou corrigeant divers documents conformment aux modles standards de lentreprise, notamment la rdaction et la rvision daccords de confidentialit, le renouvellement ou la modification de contrats de service, ainsi que la prparation dchanciers et dnoncs de travail.
  • Soutenir l'quipe sur toutes sortes de questions et de demandes contractuelles.
  • Effectuer une vrification diligente des renseignements et des commentaires obtenus dans le cadre de la conclusion de diverses ententes et dacquisitions potentielles.
  • Participer llaboration, la mise en uvre et la mise jour de divers modles de contrats, documents de rfrence et bases de donnes, et contribuer lamlioration des processus internes.
  • Soutenir la haute direction dans le cadre des transactions (y compris la diligence raisonnable) et des obligations de divulgation continue, et assurer la coordination et la liaison avec les parties internes et externes.
  • Soutenir les exigences des socits publiques.



Exigences :

  • Pour russir dans ce poste, le candidat doit dmontrer les qualits ou comptences suivantes :
  • Parfait bilingue (franais et anglais), tant loral qu lcrit.
  • Diplme universitaire ou collgial en tudes para juridiques (ou dans une discipline approprie) ou diplme en commerce.
  • Au moins trois ans dexprience pertinente en entreprise ou en cabinet davocats.
  • Sens de lorganisation.
  • Capacit de travailler en quipe et de dvelopper de solides relations de coopration et de soutien.
  • Grand souci du dtail ; esprit d'quipe et souci du service client.
  • Comptences efficaces en gestion des priorits.
  • Capacit de travailler avec une clientle diversifie et de s'adapter des situations et des individus varis.
  • Sens de l'initiative et proactivit.
  • Capacit de travailler sous pression, souvent dans des dlais serrs, et de faire preuve de sang-froid dans des situations dlicates.
  • Bonne thique de travail, bon jugement et bonnes comptences en communication.
  • Autonomie et diplomatie.
  • Matrise de MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Outlook) et capacit de travailler avec des documents PDF.
