Job description
As a Non-Residential CRSW, you will support adults with disabilities in both community and home settings. This may include assisting with grocery shopping, appointments, recreation programs, personal care, or teaching new skills that promote independence and confidence. Your role is to encourage participation, ensure safety, and help individuals live full and meaningful lives.
As a Residential CRSW, you'll make a real difference every day. You'll assist with routines like meals, cleaning, or personal care, encourage new skills, and support community activities. Your role is to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where adults with disabilities can live with dignity, independence, and connection.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the development and implementations of the clients individual support plan
- Facilitating and enabling the development of basic life and family skills
- Facilitating and enabling client socializations and inclusion in the community
- Participating in the maintenance of a safe, clean, supportive, and accommodating client environment
- Assisting with personal care as it applies to hygiene, personal well-being, household management, basic nutrition, and medication administration
- Maintaining appropriate documentation and records
Qualifications:
- Experience working with people with disabilities asset
- Ability to deal effectively with behaviors an asset
- Experience working with personal care an asset
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check and two work related references required
- Minimum of Basic First Aid with CPR level A within first 90 days required
- Vehicle, valid driver's license and Third Party $2million liability insurance asset if driving clients
- Valid work/study permit (if applicable) required
- Willing to complete 2 ½ days of mandatory training
- Outgoing, friendly and possess a positive and professional attitude, with demonstrated willingness to learn

- The Calgary office of ICE includes residential homes throughout Calgary
