<h2>Clinical Manager (Registered Nurse)</h2><br><p><em>Location:</em> Winnipeg, MB<br><br><em>Type:</em> Full-Time | Permanent</p><h3>Position Summary</h3><br><p>The Clinical Manager is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and professional development across all care teams. This role focuses on education, training, and performance development, ensuring that all staff deliver safe, high-quality, and person-centered care in alignment with best practices and organizational standards.</p><p>The successful candidate will combine strong clinical expertise with proven leadership and mentoring skills to cultivate a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and excellence in healthcare delivery.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><br><h3>Clinical Leadership & Quality</h3><ul><li>Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical standards, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with provincial health legislation, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.</li><li>Monitor quality indicators, risk trends, and infection control data, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.</li><li>Act as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing and allied health staff, supporting evidence-based practice.</li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, audits, and quality initiatives to enhance resident/patient outcomes.</li></ul><h3>Education, Training & Professional Development</h3><ul><li>Assess learning needs and develop comprehensive education and training programs for all clinical staff.</li><li>Facilitate ongoing clinical education, including workshops, certifications, and in-service sessions.</li><li>Support staff in achieving continuing education and licensing requirements.</li><li>Champion a culture of professional growth, encouraging leadership development and lifelong learning.</li></ul><h3>Operations & Collaboration</h3><ul><li>Manage departmental resources efficiently, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and external partners to optimize care delivery.</li><li>Participate in organizational committees, including Education, Quality Improvement, and Health & Safety.</li><li>Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of organizational initiatives.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Current registration in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).</li><li>Bachelor of Nursing (BN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, or Healthcare Leadership is an asset.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or educator role.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles, clinical teaching, and competency development.</li><li>Strong knowledge of healthcare legislation, infection prevention, and accreditation standards.</li><li>Exceptional communication, coaching, and team-building skills.</li><li>Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Ongoing professional development and leadership training opportunities.</li><li>A collaborative, innovative environment that values clinical excellence and education.</li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on staff performance, culture, and patient outcomes.</li></ul>
