We are looking for a full-time Class 1 LCV linehaul driver for a switch run between Yellowknife and Enterprise with a departure time of 5:00 pm daily, Monday to Friday. This is a pin to pin position. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Safely operating and maneuvering Long Combination Vehicles (LCVs) on highway routes.
2. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
3. Accurately logging driving hours, rest periods, and other relevant information in accordance with federal and provincial regulations.
4. Efficiently loading and unloading freight, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
5. Maintaining clear communication with dispatch, customers, and other drivers as needed.
6. Adhering to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
7. Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries, or vehicle maintenance issues to management.
8. Assisting with route planning and optimization when necessary.
9. Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
10. Completing all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
11. Participating in ongoing safety training and professional development programs.
12. Demonstrating flexibility in schedule to accommodate occasional weekend or holiday work as required.

Driver must reside in the Yellowknife area, no fly-in options. This position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

• Class 1 license
• LCV qualified an asset
• 5 years of class 1 experience
• Physically fit - able to lift 75 LBS, and push 200 LBS
• Reliable and dependable
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset
