<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>Carpenter - NOC 72310</p><p></p><ul><li>Company: Ronin Concrete</li><li>Location of Work: Saskatoon</li><li>Job Title: Carpenter</li><li>Number of Positions: 8</li><li>We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to work in the Saskatoon area. This position supports Ronin Concretes work in assisting with the construction of concrete formwork projects in the Saskatoon region.</li><li>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform carpentry work on the project</li><li>Adherence to project specifications, code and corporate safety requirements on all sites</li><li>Carpentry work that falls outside of the scope of work of subcontractors</li><li>Proficient knowledge and use of power tools such as air nailers, skill saw, screw gun</li><li>Experience or willingness to be trained on equipment operation is an asset</li><li>Other tasks as required by the site foreman</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements</li><li>Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools</li><li>Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials</li><li>Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems</li><li>Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware</li><li>Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments</li><li>Supervise apprentices and other construction workers</li><li>May prepare cost estimates for clients.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>3+ years of carpentry experience</li><li>Carpentry and formwork experience</li><li>Good verbal communication skills</li><li>Candidate must have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work</li><li>Exceptional analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills</li><li>Highly organized, results-oriented and able to work in a multi-functional team environment</li><li>Must have own vehicle and valid drivers license</li><li>Completion of secondary school.</li><li>Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry</li></ul>Physical Demands: Handling material manually, standing, bending or twisting the body, making repetitive motions, walking and running.</li><li>Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent<br /><ul></ul></li><li>Wage Range: $30.00 per hour</li><li>Language of Work: English (Oral and Written)</li><li>Benefits: Life Insurance, Health and Dental Benefits, and RRSP Matching</li><li>Work Environment: Sounds and noise, skin injury, standard safety equipment, outside, exposed to weather, hazardous conditions, high places, dangerous chemical substances, extreme temperatures, vibration, hazardous equipment, machinery, tools.<br /></li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
