<p>Overview<br><br>We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to promoting independence and well-being for those under their care.</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support</li><li>Monitor patient health by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; report any abnormalities promptly</li><li>Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces</li><li>Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury during heavy lifting or repositioning</li><li>Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's or dementia care, using specialized techniques to promote safety and comfort</li><li>Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies</li><li>Engage residents in social activities or companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, or family members to develop and implement personalized care plans</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including CPR certification, first aid procedures, and HIPAA privacy standards</li><li>Assist in hospice or end-of-life care by providing comfort measures and emotional support</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer's care</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information</li><li>Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as Hoyer lift training or hospice care experience are advantageous</li><li>Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate equipment such as resident lifts or Hoyer lifts</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams</li><li>Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through direct support and caregiving services</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed</li></ul><p>Join us as a Caregiver if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated patient care.
