<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Job Title: Calibration Technician</strong></p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>The Calibration Technician is responsible for maintaining the calibration system at the site. This role involves performing all calibrations or coordinating services from outside vendors to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in processing, packaging, and facility instrument calibration. The technician will manage calibration documentation review, change controls, and deviation records effectively.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform in-house calibration on most of the plant equipment.</li><li>Maintain plant service equipment and keep logs as required.</li><li>Attend to regular <span >electrical/electronic</span> breakdowns and regular service calls.</li><li>Participate in upgrading, new installations, and commissioning of new equipment.</li><li>Maintain all calibration and preventive maintenance records.</li><li>Calibrate <span >electrical/pneumatic</span> sensors, indicators, and transmitters for process parameters such as temperature, pressure, humidity, pH, conductivity, and force.</li><li>Review calibration and preventive maintenance work orders for compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), issuing appropriate change controls.</li><li>Analyze process instruments for potential calibration problems and support further troubleshooting of process issues, effectively communicating equipment status, operational impact, potential risks, and solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Expertise in calibration and metrology.</li><li>Proficiency in GMP and instrumentation.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and test equipment efficiently.</li><li>Experience in instrumentation calibration and preventive maintenance.</li><li>Knowledge of process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Certification as a Calibration Technician.</li><li>Experience with instrumentation.</li><li>Familiarity with equipment used in manufacturing settings.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>This position requires 100% onsite presence. The work environment involves hands-on interaction with plant equipment and instrumentation.
