<p>Overview<br><br>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, proficiency with various accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks accurately. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting both corporate and non-profit accounting functions. The successful applicant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, and reconciling accounts.</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Manage and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account analysis</li><li>Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness</li><li>Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements</li><li>Conduct payroll processing and related tax filings</li><li>Utilize accounting software QuickBooks</li><li>Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and financial analysis tasks</li><li>Reconcile accounts through detailed account analysis and double-entry bookkeeping methods</li><li>Maintain accurate records of debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation activities</li><li>Support internal audits and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li>Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within corporate or non-profit organizations</li><li>Familiarity with accounting software including QuickBooks</li><li>Experience with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, payroll processing, and tax preparation</li><li>Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing</li><li>Prior experience in public accounting or technical accounting is a plus</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts and deadlines</li></ul><p>This position is integral to maintaining the financial health of our organization.
