About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join the multidisciplinary engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage multiple product lines and development projects, while working closely with cross-functional engineer teams and Chinese manufacturing partners.

The ideal candidate will bring strong product management and project management experience, a solid understanding of mechanical engineering, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines to achieve business goals. Success in this role requires excellent bilingual communication skills (English and Mandarin) and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from requirement planning through production release.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, quality control, and marketing …etc.) to align product specifications with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with Chinese manufacturers to ensure timely production, quality assurance, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables while proactively identifying and resolving risks or delays.
  • Review and analyze product test results to ensure compliance with performance standards and customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including product related reports, and project updates.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management to support product improvements and strategic growth.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management or project management within hardware/consumer electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals.
  • Excellent command of both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with project management & time management tools such as Asana, Toggl is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
