Job Description
Just Jeeps is seeking a Full-time Jeep Parts Purchaser, dedicated to purchasing customer parts and processing orders in a timely and efficient manner, working in a busy, fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include parts research, supplier identification, supplier relations, arrangements for shipping as well as placing and managing supplier POs, The Jeep Parts Purchaser position involves frequent and regular interaction with suppliers as well as friendly and courteous customer service support in order to effectively manage and expedite customer orders. Jeep or automotive parts knowledge is an asset.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Process and fulfill customer orders in a timely fashion
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and earliest ETA
- Check all suppliers offerings before processing any orders
- Parts sourcing and researching new vendors
- Communicate shipping and tracking information to customers
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service and support
- Answer customer inquiries and provide informed advice and recommendations
- Assist customers with order substitutions
- Suggest value-added and related products by actively listening to customer needs and goals
- Respond efficiently to all customer inquiries, requests and concerns, over the phone (and in person)
- Update product knowledge regularly by learning about new products
- Remain up to date on in-store promotions, in-store deals and product locations
- Ensure that all ordering tasks are executed efficiently
- Identify low stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy
- Improve upon performance through regular updating of skills and manager feedback
Requirements:
- Available to work remotely/hybrid Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Customer-oriented, highly approachable individual who thrives on offering exceptional customer service as well as professional communication with suppliers, customers and staff
- Dedicated follow-up regarding customer inquiries, supplier information and shipping details
- Ability to complete purchasing tasks according to instructions and to demonstrate responsibility for outcomes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and provide assistance and support to co-workers to achieve common goals
- Ability to resolve purchasing and/or customer issues
- Ability to adapt to, and manage, challenging and changing situations
- Positive attitude, punctual and solid work ethic
- Ability to provide consistently professional customer service
- Knowledge of Jeeps and Jeep after-market parts is essential
