Our client, located near the Schaumburg area in Ontario, is a world-class manufacturing facility seeking temporary staff with the opportunity to transition into full-time permanent positions with excellent benefits upon hire.
Position: Assembly Production Associate
Wage: $19–$20 per hour
Responsibilities include:
Load and unload bins containing parts.
Assemble smaller components onto larger assemblies.
Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Identify and report defective materials to the Lead Associate or Supervisor.
Perform machine operation checks and safety inspections at prescribed intervals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Adhere to all company safety requirements, including the use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, weld sleeves) and safe job practices.
Read and understand operational standards and job instructions.
Use basic hand and power tools as required.
Stand for extended periods of time.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Manage multiple tasks while meeting production targets.
