Job Description

<p><h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs for customers.</li>
<li>Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems.</li>
<li>Provide excellent customer service while explaining automotive repairs and issues.</li>
<li>Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals, and experience.</li>
<li>Test parts and systems for functionality.</li>
<li>Perform primary auto care and maintenance tasks (oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotation).</li>
<li>Replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other components.</li>
<li>Perform routine vehicle maintenance and general mechanic work.</li>
<li>Show willingness to learn through hands‑on experience.</li>
<li>Assist in keeping the repair shop clean and organized.</li>
<li>Maintain a professional demeanor.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience with automotive and engine repair or auto mechanic training is required.</li>
<li>ASE certifications are necessary.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license.</li>
<li>Associate’s degree in auto maintenance and repair.</li>
<li>Ability to present a professional image while providing friendly customer service.</li>
<li>Keep accurate records (read, interpret, and transcribe data).</li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast‑paced environment.</li>
<li>May lift objects up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Experience as a lube technician or prepared for on‑job training.</li>
<li>Understanding of automotive air‑conditioning systems.</li>
<li>Ability to use diagnostic equipment.</li>
<li>Experience with heavy equipment, diesel mechanic, diesel engine knowledge, or prepared for on‑job training.</li>
<li>Good hand‑eye coordination.</li>
</ul>
