<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for the Housekeeping Aide position for our Support Services Department.</p><p>The duration of this temporary contract would be <strong>indefinite</strong>, or sooner, as determined by RRHS.</p><p>The primary location for this position is: <strong>Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll</strong></p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Housekeeping Aide performs the necessary cleaning duties as required with the objective of maintaining the hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent acceptable to the Hospital.</li><li>Preference will be given to candidates who possess the Ontario Healthcare Housekeepers&#39; Association (OHHA) Environmental Services for Front Line Staff course or are in the process of completing it.</li><li>Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in a healthcare setting.</li><li>Physically able to perform the requirements of the job.</li><li>Knowledge of WHMIS as it pertains to Housekeeping.</li><li>Able to perform cleaning duties as required, in a clean, sanitary and orderly manner.</li><li>Computer knowledge and proficiency preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Demonstrated ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team</li><li>Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis. </li></ul><p><strong>Other pertinent conditions</strong><strong>: </strong></p><ul><li>As per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement ($28.59 per hour to $29.34 per hour)</li></ul>Applying to this Position<p>If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in applying for the position, please click on <strong>APPLY NOW</strong> and submit a resume detailing your qualifications.</p><p>Must be available to work all shifts as required, which may include; weekends, statutory holidays, days, evenings and night shifts.
