Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaterial Handler Position Summary:Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment. May also utilizeforklift truck, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. May perform other general warehouse functions in support of operational requirements.Certifications Required:CPROrder Picker - Forklift.Key Accountabilities:• Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.• Oversees safe and reliable packaging of all outgoing shipments.• Process items for shipment according to established guidelines and procedures.• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, orders, and other records to determine shippingpriorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping, utilizingknowledge of shipping procedures• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and allaccidents to a manager or supervisor.• Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with finished goods that need to be shipped• Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required• Identify, hold and segregate defective material• Perform general clean up• Participate, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives andrequirements• Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead• Train others when required• Assist in any activities related to lean and/or quality• Meet/Exceed targets as defined by the leadership team• Other duties as assignedThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performanceof this job.
