Build a career that you can be proud of with us.Responsibilities:As a software test engineer, you will be responsible for the following:· Requirement Analysis: Understanding and analyzing the requirements and specifications of the software to create effective test plans and strategies.· Test Planning: Developing detailed test plans, including the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of testing activities.· Test Case Design: Creating detailed test cases and test scripts based on the requirements and design documents.· Test Execution: Performing manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets the specified requirements.· Defect Reporting: Logging and tracking defects using bug tracking tools, and working closely with developers to resolve issues.· Regression Testing: Conducting regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.· Performance Testing: Evaluating the performance, scalability, and reliability of the software under various conditions.· User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinating and supporting UAT to ensure the software meets the end-users’ needs and expectations.· Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports.· Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.· Collaboration: Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality product.· Compliance and Standards: Ensuring that the software complies with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Backend Skills:Profound knowledge of the .NET / PHP / Java & Rest Framework is essential.Profound knowledge of Microsoft VS Testing ToolsProfound knowledge of PlaywrightDemonstrated proficiency in MYSQL is required.A good understanding of REST APIs, SQL databases, and version control systems is important for the role. Frontend Skills:Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with popular JavaScript frameworks and libraries.Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3, with a keen eye for responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.Familiarity with modern frontend development tools and practices. Soft Skills:· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Requirements:A diploma in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or mathematics from a recognized university or technology institution, with coursework in business and systems analysis, software design and programming, and the use of software development tools.2-5 years of full-stack development and/or software testing engineering.A minimum of 2 years of experience with .NET, PHP, or JAVA.At least 1 year of experience with jQuery.At least 1 year of experience with MYSQL.Knowledge of MS Azure or AWS is considered a valuable asset.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits.Opportunity to work on diverse projects with the latest technologies.Continuous learning and career growth opportunities. * Competitive wage based on experience.* Candidates must be a Canadian citizen or have permanent residency in Canada.
