Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAn industry leading energy services company is immediately hiring a Senior Building Automation Technician to cover the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).WHAT THEY OFFER YOU:· 40 Years Continuous Growth· Strong Compensation Package· Ongoing Training and Development· Career Growth Opportunities· Corporate Discounts, Gym Memberships,As the Senior BAS Technician, you will be primarily responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring junior technicians; installing, commissioning and programing building automation systems (i.e. Siemens); and HVAC troubleshooting, preventative and corrective measures to various equipment (Air Handlers, Boilers, Chillers, Variable Frequency Drives, etc.). Other duties include, but are not limited to:- Support Customers through phone and computer assistance- Monitor Energy Management Systems in client buildings- Other related dutiesJOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:At least five (5) years experience as a Building Automation Technician requiredAt least one (1) year related supervisory experience in the industryPrevious experience with programming and commissioning systems using BACnet and/or P2 protocols· 2–4-year technical degree in addition to technical training/certificationsCertificate in Building Environmental Systems (BES/BSET) or related program, considered an asset.Valid “G” driver’s license and clean recordAbility to pass Pre-Employment Background Check (Driving, Criminal, Credit, References)SHIFT: Days, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
