Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMillwright Mechanic (Automotive & Injection Molding)We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Millwright Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the automotive and injection molding industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a proven track record in injection molding maintenance, and a valid Millwright Certificate.Responsibilities:Injection Molding Equipment Maintenance:Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production.Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems.Install and commission new injection molding equipment.Perform precision alignments and adjustments to maintain equipment accuracy and efficiency.Automotive Equipment Maintenance:Maintain and repair various automotive production equipment, including conveyors, robotic systems, assembly lines, and material handling systems.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.General Maintenance:Maintain and repair plant facilities and infrastructure, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.Fabricate and modify machine parts and components using various tools and equipment.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.Qualifications:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in injection molding maintenance.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the automotive industry.Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.Company DescriptionFounded in 2009, our company is a minority-certified custom injection molder, offering machines ranging from 60 to 2700 US Tons.
