UNIT SUMMARYThe Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) is a collaborative program funded and operated jointly by Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph's Hospital. The Program is committed to change and innovation, through education, service and research, to bring the highest quality science into healthcare for the benefit of the community and to participate in the clinical application and interpretation of the science.QUALIFICATIONSCurrently registered with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)3 years histology experience and IHC experience preferredExcellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skillsA practical examination may be part of the interview processRESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for performing IHC stainsPerform quality assurance of IHCDevelop new antibodies under the direction of the Technical SpecialistPerform troubleshooting of IHC stainsMaintain inventory control of IHC reagentsOther duties as assigned
